Flora Sui & Evis Tan1. What is the most important spiritual lesson I have learnt?
The most important spiritual lesson that I have learned was on the surrendering of the sins that I have no victory over on the Cross. By doing that, I am able to experience the sufferings that Jesus Christ went through in order to pay for sins that are not His wrong doings. Jesus died on the Cross for me who does not deserve it as I am a sinner. It woke me up on how much I have not valued the sacrifices and reminded me that the same process of Jesus dying on the Cross which is taking place every time I sinned. By surrendering my sins, I felt the joy and freedom in my life and it will definitely help me to grow spiritually.
2. What has transacted between you and God this weekend?
I have encounter God’s presence this weekend as I can feel God’s love which is so warm and so close. God is willing to love me though I am a sinner and most of the time I have sinned against Him. I have placed the sins and struggles I faced unto the Cross and in return God have given me His one and beloved Son Jesus Christ to die on the Cross for me. As a result, I can experience the peace, joy and love from the Lord Jesus Christ.
3. How did you feel before and after the Encounter Weekend?
Before the Encounter Weekend, I don’t have any expectation and thought it is just a prerequisite course that I need to complete before I become member of church.
Anyway, after attending the first lesson, my mood level change and I felt God presence and His love in attending the BMEW. I enjoy the fellowship with other participants especially with my praying partner. There are so many things that both of us got to know about each other and through prayers, we managed to build each other up.

Besides, I have learnt to trust and put my confidence in God in everything that I do and especially on my delivery day (currently 36 weeks pregnant). A week before attending this course, I was terrified about the day of my delivery. But now I learn to trust in Him and have confidence in Him. Besides, I feel my burden have been lightened as I managed to throw all my sins at the feet of Jesus.
4. Why should others attend the Encounter Weekend?
I would say others should attend this encounter weekend as this is the time we can experience God's love and His presence would surround us all the time. Besides, those who attend will benefit from good testimonies by pastor and guaranteed everyone who attend will have a good weekend with brothers and sisters in Christ and to uphold each others in prayers.
